We won in the Interface and User Experience category for our work on the design and user experience of a new app and web application for Dibber, which operates over 600 kindergartens in nine countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The digital service makes it easier for employees and parents to maintain good communication, share information, and keep track of daily kindergarten activities.
"This is one of the biggest awards we can receive and shows that the craftsmanship we deliver is at a high international level. We have conducted global research with employees and parents in all the countries where Dibber operates, from Finland to the UAE and India, to uncover both universal and local pain points and needs. Dibber has opened all doors for us, and this unique access has truly yielded results. We have created an extensive design system, a user experience that solves real problems, and a digital solution that simplifies daily life for both Dibber employees and parents," says Greg Lusk, CEO of Unfold.

In addition to making the user experience as simple and seamless as possible across mobile and desktop, the designers have focused on ensuring that the app serves as a supportive tool in the employees' workday. The goal is to allow tasks to be completed quickly and efficiently, so that staff can minimize screen time and spend as much time as possible with the children.
Dibber's product owner, Assad Abbas, is extremely pleased that the app is receiving top-level recognition.
"At Dibber, our goal is to offer kindergartens rooted in Nordic values and educational principles, where children are at the center. With the app, we aim to set the standard for how all our employees and parents share and receive information. The solutions are designed to work globally, while also streamlining operations and enhancing the user experience, tailored to local cultures and needs," says Assad.
